Once I had completed my rock formation I began building as normal. As the flat roof of the original building will eventually become the floor of your house, the rocks need to be the right height in order to avoid clipping. If you’re going to try this in your own game, make sure that the rocks are never taller than your basic structure. I repeated this process with each rock and positioned them individually until they completely concealed my original building. I selected the rock I wanted to scale up and pressed the Right Square Bracket Key a few times until it was big enough. After this, I began to size up a number of the small garden rocks that come with the base game. These would form the base for my rock formation. To accomplish this look, I started with a very basic shape, simply building two rectangular rooms and positioning them next to each other on the lot. After playing around with a few concepts, I decided that building the house on top of an outcropping of rocks fit well with my theme and looked the best. The gravestones, intimating gates and decaying shrubbery really added to the overall ambience and made for some spine-tingling screenshots!Īlthough I knew that I wanted this house to look decrepit, abandoned, and somewhat quirky, I wasn’t initially sure how to achieve this. The area that surrounds this particular lot is also really atmospheric. I chose the biggest lot in the world (where Vladilaus’ house is normally found) meaning I was left with plenty of room to experiment with. Its dark skies, abandoned graves and vampire inhabitants provide the perfect backdrop for a chilling build. If you’re going to be creating a creepy haunted house, I highly recommend building in Forgotten Hollow. Full of creepy cobwebs and things that go bump in the night, this house is perfect for your brave explorers, ghost hunters, and supernatural enthusiasts! Not sure if I'm missing something or what but I'm seriously thinking in restarting my game completely and begin a new one from scratch (even if it means to lose all the other event's limited time prizes), since this house was probably the only one prize I was really looking forward to get, and to continue this game without the chance of getting it (even if I have to pay real money for it) makes no sense to me.It’s Halloween! Time to track down that old pumpkin carving station, find the candy, and get your Sims ready for the 31 st! In celebration of this terrifying holiday, I have created a haunted house in the Sims 4. The thing is that I've read that the house is available for purchase in the online store, but I have checked and did not find it. I just finished the Ghost Hunters quest and unfortunately missed the limited time prize which is the house template - although I'm sure I still had at least one more hour left. Sorry to bring an old thread back to life, but I have a question about the haunted house as well. I've almost completed the ghost hunting hobby and I've got all the haunted stuff unlocked bookshelf's, chains, elevator, stairs everything but the house. I don't want to start over just to earn the house but I was really looking forward to having one. My question is am I able to build the haunted house I looked through my houses and don't see as a option to build. I didn't start from scratch when I reinstated it started me where I left off and had some quest already completed automatically. I'm currently on the pirate quest about to finish and get my hobbies. Now I have the ghost hunter hobby unlocked I didn't have to complete the ghost hunter quest and I know the ghost hunter quest is available after a certain level I'm currently on 37. It also unlocked all the main prizes for the quest I didn't have to do as if I completed them within the seven day time limit for example I have elevators and firepoles unlocked. So first off I started playing sims soon as it came out I uninstalled the game after two months and reinstalled this year of April some of the quest I didn't have to do like its going all swimmingly quest multi story renovations quest.
